Hello S.A.L. members. We had another successful spaghetti dinner. We served about one hundred meals and we had good reviews. Thanks to John Johnson and the Madison College culinary staff for preparing the meatballs, spaghetti and sauce. The workers for our dinner were Dick Schwedrsky, Randy Justasen, Ron Walsvick, Ron Fraedrich, Mike Mount, Olivia Larson, Brett Henes, Kim Henes, Samantha Henes, Grace Henes and myself. April 2012

Hello S.A.L. members. By the time you receive your April newsletter, the spaghetti dinner will be history. We’ll try to donate some of the profits made to an organization to be named later. Our March meeting (always the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m.), was attended by eight members. I would like to see more, but I think I’ve said enough about it. The next event will be the S.A.L. pig roast on August 4th, from 1-5 p.m. Our fi...Read More

I know it’s hard to fit things in at times, but the few that attend plan their time for S.A.L. meetings ahead and that’s dedication to the S.A.L. and what it stands for. Our next S.A.L. meeting will be December 7 at 6:30 sharp. We will discuss future dinners, so please t...Read More

October 2011

Things are looking up at our monthly meetings which are on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. If you’re late, you can still contribute. There are new members adding good ideas for dinners, events and volunteering, which is what we need. Jon Johnson still needs help with finance duties and one of our members has a lot of experience. Isn’t that right, Dick? (No last name until he’s on board.) We had a good turnout of S.A.L. workers ...Read More
