Now that winter is over and spring has sprung, it is time for our annual Spring Clean-Up Day. On Saturday, May 1st, at 9:00 a.m., we will start cleaning the hall. We will not have a “white glove inspection” but will do our best to make everything look great. We’ll be serving pizza for lunch and then send you home with a satisfied feeling of “well done”; knowing you did your part in keeping your Post well taken care of. “Only with winter-patience can we bring the deep desired, long-awaited Spring.” - Anne Morrow Lindbergh On Saturday night, March 13, Post 534 held a dinner to celebrate the 91st birthday of the American Legion. There was plenty of good food and a decorated birthday cake. I certainly thank those who helped from the very beginning to the final stages of washing dishes and taking down tables and chairs. I hope you all know how much I appreciate ...Read More

At our September 4, 2009 Post meeting, we welcomed LCPL Christopher Meier, USMC, as a new member. Christopher is a grandson of Dale and Jan Bliese, both members of our Post 534 family. On October 22nd, Chris, a turret gunner on a truck, was injured when his tr...Read More
